Remote services

I offer remote work in three areas:

  • System design and development: frontend, backend and databases.
  • Relational database design and evaluation.
  • Maintenance and modernization of existing systems.

I develop cross-platform systems for web and desktop, supporting multiple languages, light and dark themes, and dynamic backgrounds or images according to project requirements. I can adapt solutions to processes of varying complexity when supporting material documents and substantiates their rules and operation.

I am José R. Delgado Errade, a developer and software architect with more than thirty years of experience. I build administrative, financial, sports and business systems for companies, institutions and communities, combining technical expertise with an understanding of their processes.

I have designed relational database systems since the beginning of my career in systems development. I also evaluate their structure and relationships, data integrity, performance, security and maintainability.

Since 2025, I have incorporated the latest generation of AI tools, agents and skills into my work to optimize and streamline development as part of my ongoing professional development.

Career

I have worked as a university lecturer, independent developer and software architect. My experience includes legacy systems built with Visual Basic and MSSQL, web applications using classic PHP and Xajax, and a natural progression toward modern SPAs, Laravel, Livewire and business platforms with external integrations.

I currently live in Cape Coral, Florida, where I continue to develop professional solutions and expand my portfolio with modern, robust and technically sound projects.

03 / Experience

More than 30 years building professional software

1990s — Early programming career

I began my software career with the languages and tools of the time, developing desktop applications and basic administrative systems. This period established my discipline in logic, data structures and process design. Relational database system design has been part of my work since this early stage.

2000–2008 — Visual Basic, MSSQL and enterprise systems

During this period, I developed complete systems using Visual Basic 6 and SQL Server, including payroll, administration, reporting and internal processes. I built robust applications that still exemplify well-organized classic architecture.

2008–2014 — Transition to web development

I moved to PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, creating administrative, community and sports web systems. I worked with Xajax, classic PHP and custom MVC structures. Projects such as Parrot, ASOVEPARE and ATMDC began during this period, demonstrating my ability to translate real processes into functional web applications.

2014–2020 — Custom SPAs and modular architecture

I developed my own SPA architectures without heavy frameworks, using modern JavaScript, reusable components and generic CRUD operations. Mi App Financiera strengthened my expertise in reactive interfaces and support for multiple languages, users and currencies.

2020–2024 — Laravel, Livewire and modern platforms

I adopted Laravel as my primary framework and Livewire as the interactive layer. I built complex systems such as Purview2, with advanced competition logic, official pairings, PDF reports, domain validation and automated tests using Pest. This period represents my technical maturity in modern architecture.

2024–2026 — Business applications and professional SEO

I developed The Shutter Pros, a bilingual business platform with a dynamic catalog, multimedia galleries, background videos, advanced SEO, Twilio and WhatsApp Cloud API integrations, retryable queues and automated tests. This project demonstrates my ability to build real solutions for modern businesses.

Present — Clean architecture, modularity and professional systems

Today, I continue to develop applications with clean architecture, advanced modularity, external integrations and automated testing. My focus is on professional, scalable and maintainable software with clear interfaces and well-modeled administrative processes. As part of my ongoing professional development, I incorporated AI into my work as a developer in 2025. I currently build software in collaboration with the latest generation of AI tools, using agents and skills to optimize and streamline development.
