Purview2 — Chess Tournaments
Laravel + Livewire with Swiss, FIDE Dutch, round-robin, knockout and team formats.
Overview
Purview2 is a professional platform for managing chess tournaments with multiple pairing systems.
All my applications, including this one, were built as SPAs (single-page applications). This architecture updates the necessary parts of the interface without reloading an entire page on each navigation, which can reduce response time and support smoother interaction.
Purview2 is the project that has required the most automated testing and work on official pairing systems. Most tests have used AI-generated data, complemented by manually prepared cases to check that the results match documented real-world situations from past events. Technical and official FIDE manuals have been consulted for this validation.
Professional value
This project reflects my command of complex competition logic and modern architecture.
My responsibility covered frontend and backend design and development, as well as database design and implementation.
